The CZ.NIC association has joined the pilot phase of the AMDoS project.

The project is aimed at finding solutions to yet unsolved problems related to phishing websites. This project will involve the end users.

The association’s security team CZ.NIC-CSIRT joined the pilot project AMDoS (APWG Malicious Domain Suspension) of the Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG). The project is aimed at finding solutions to yet unsolved problems related to phishing websites. This project will involve the end users who will have to go through APWG’s stringent accreditation process. These users will then be authorized to send requests for problem solutions to the competent registry. The staff of the registry will then evaluate the situation and take steps to remedy it. In addition to CZ.NIC, further ten top-level domain administrators have joined the project: .CO, .INFO, .PRO, .MOBI, .ASIA, .HK, .ORG, .SG, .CH and .LK.
