“I am honored to be elected as member of the Board of such an important Internet organization. I am pleased that I will be able to build on the work of my colleague Ondřej Filip, who has taken part in managing the DNS-OARC organization for six years. In my work, I will use many years of experience with projects related to DNS, in which I was intensively involved virtually from the beginning of my career,” said Ondřej Surý, Technical Fellow at CZ.NIC.

The DNS-OARC Association was founded in 2008 to enable an exchange of views and experiences between the major operators of DNS, ISPs, top-level domain administrators, administrators of root servers, security experts, registrars, developers and researchers. Among other things, the Association prepares analyses and statistics, organizes educational events and provides services and tools for solving technological problems and reducing security risks. Among its members are Google, Microsoft, Comcast, Cisco, VeriSign and ICANN.
