Technical writers to meet again at CZ.NIC Academy

On Thursday, June 14th, the third technical writers’ workshop will take place at the CZ.NIC training center in Prague.

On Thursday, June 14th, the third technical writers’ workshop will take place at the CZ.NIC training center in Prague. The purpose of the meeting is to enable the sharing of experience among people dealing with technical documentation or other sub-areas of technical communication. The workshop will take the form of presentations followed by discussions between the participants. The main organizer is Zuzana Lena Ansorgová, a technical writer from CZ.NIC, who lectured on her work and experience at this year’s InstallFest.

“We have published a form on the event website, which applicants willing to present at the workshop may use to send their abstracts. I would like to invite all technical writers and others who are interested in this area to join us and take an active part in the event,” said Zuzana Lena Ansorgová. “The theme of this year’s workshop is METADATA and its use in documentation. The proposal of other thematic areas, which, however, do not have to be strictly followed by the candidates, is available on the workshop website.”

The submitted topics will be published on the workshop website starting the next week. The applicants will find the registration form there as well.
