CZ.NIC Association hosts dns zones of the nix.cz peering node and the administrator of the national

The cooperation between CZ.NIC and NIX.CZ is long-term and relatively intensive. Hosting a DNS zone with approximately twenty second-order domains does not present a burden for our infrastructure. On the contrary, we are happy to share our experience and know-how. In case of colleagues from Central American Guatemala, this is a project based on our long-term support for developing domain registries.

The administrator of the Czech national domain, the CZ.NIC Association, has been hosting DNS zones of the Czech neutral peering node NIX.CZ and the administrator of the national domain of Guatemala (.gt) since February this year.

“One of our DNS hosting providers has recently canceled the service we were using. That’s why we started looking for a new partner in the community. At one of the ICANN technical meetings we saw a presentation of CZ.NIC representatives who presented the solution we were looking for. Since our organizations have maintained very good relations for many years, it didn’t take long for our cooperation to start, with our CZ.NIC colleagues being always very helpful and accommodating. We are very satisfied with the cooperation and CZ.NIC services,” said Alejandra Reynoso from the research and development team of the national domain administrator of Guatemala.
