The CZ.NIC Association to Definitively Turn off Old ODVR

The CZ.NIC Association turn off the last part of Open DNSSEC old validating resolvers (ODVR) on June 25, 9:00 AM CEST.

In February this year, technicians of the CZ.NIC Association announced a plan to turn off the last part of Open DNSSEC validating resolvers (ODVR) in March. However, they postponed this action due to the state of emergency. Now that the state of emergency ended, the CZ.NIC Association set a new date for the termination — June 25, 9:00 AM CEST.

"I want to encourage everyone who have not changed the setting of their systems yet to do so as soon as possible. Make sure you do not use IP addresses of the old ODVR unicast 217.31.204.130, 2001:1488:800:400::130 as a DNS resolver. You can find more details, including a tool that can show you what resolver your computer uses, in a CZ.NIC's blogpost," said Zdenek Bruna, CZ.NIC's CTO.
