The CZ.NIC association and the CUNI MFF extended their partnership

Both institutions will develop mutual cooperation in the coming years, primarily in the areas of education, research and development.

During the next five years, the Czech national domain administrator will continue to be a partner of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University (MFF UK). The two institutions will develop mutual cooperation in the coming years, primarily in the areas of education, research and development.

The CZ.NIC Association and the MFF UK are bound together not only by a number of topics related to the Internet or online networks, but also, for example, employees of the Czech national domain administrator or key projects of the Association; many CZ.NIC employees are graduates or current students of this faculty, and two key CZ.NIC projects were created in the facilities of MFF UK – the routing daemon BIRD and the authoritative server Knot DNS.

In the past, the CZ.NIC Association and the MFF UK have concluded a partnership agreement for the years 2018 to 2020. During this period, the two institutions cooperated, for example, on competitions for talented students (MaSo, Kasiopea) or on the television series Dataville (Datová Lhota).
