Ondřej Filip elected to the UN Secretary-General’s Advisory Group

The MAG members represent the interests of governments, the private sector and civil society, including the academic and technical communities from all regions of the world.

Ondřej Filip, CEO of CZ.NIC, has been elected to the Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG), which has been an advisory body to the UN Secretary-General’s Secretariat for the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) for many years. This eighteenth summit of the world’s top decision makers on Internet governance will be held in Japan in 2023.

MAG members represent the interests of governments, the private sector and civil society, including the academic and technical communities from all regions of the world. MAG holds formal meetings several times a year, and representatives of relevant intergovernmental organizations and the European Commission are regularly invited to attend.

This is the fourth time Ondřej Filip has been elected to the MAG Advisory Group (with the first election in 2008). For more information about MAG, please visit www.intgovforum.org.
