RIPE NCC’s 89th International Meeting begins today in Prague
The 89th conference (RIPE 89) of this organization is hosted by the CZ.NIC Association, the Czech national domain administrator.
The meeting of network specialists and representatives of major telecommunications companies from Europe and abroad starts today in Prague. The Clarion Congress Hotel will host lectures, discussions, workshops and public meetings on topics that affect companies associated with the international organization RIPE NCC from Monday, October 28 to Friday, November 1. The 89th conference (RIPE 89) of this organization is hosted by the CZ.NIC Association, the Czech national domain administrator.
“For the CZ.NIC Association and the entire Czech Internet community, organizing such a meeting is an exceptional event. This is not the first time that the RIPE NCC conference has been held in the Czech Republic. Last time we had the opportunity to be part of this meeting was in 2010, specifically at the RIPE 60 conference. This means that representatives of the technical section of the Internet community from almost all over the world are meeting here again after 14 years. For me personally, RIPE 89 is special for two reasons. I have the privilege of welcoming guests here not only as the CEO of CZ.NIC, but also as the Chairman of the Board of RIPE NCC,” said Ondřej Filip, who has been the head of RIPE NCC since 2022.
