CZ.NIC Helds 2nd Annual ENUM Day Conference

This 2nd conference will be devoted to practical use of ENUM technology.

Prague, August 18, - CZ.NIC association, the administrator of the .CZ national domain and of the Czech ENUM domains register, organizes the ENUM Day 2 conference on Wednesday, September 17. This 1-day meeting has two main goals – to present more information on the current situation in this field in the Czech Republic and elsewhere and to report on practical implementation of this technology. ENUM Day 2 will take place from 10 A.M. in Rock Café, Národní třída, Prague.

"This year’s conference will be mainly focused on ENUM in practice. We want to show the end users the ways of implementing and using ENUM. Therefore the conference will host representatives of various organizations which already have ENUM-based solutions in place and who will report on implementation of this technology as well as its main benefits," said Pavel Tůma, ENUM Project Manager in the Czech Republic, and added: "Among other things we will look into the future of telecommunications with a lecture on the options of telecommunication companies to work with business models alternative to just minute-to-minute charges."
